Samantha Brock

Samantha (Sam) Brock is a distinguished leader in the pharmaceutical industry, renowned for her extensive expertise in quality assurance management. With a career dedicated to excellence, Sam has made significant contributions to the operational quality systems of sterile injectable products, APIs, medical devices, cosmetics, and food manufacturing companies. Her areas of expertise encompass regulatory compliance, Contract Manufacturing Organization
(CMO) oversight, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) risk assessment and capability development, HACCP record management, ISO auditing, training, continuous improvement, and documentation creation.

Since joining Phlow in June 2020, Sam has been instrumental in establishing a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure regulatory compliance. Her leadership has been pivotal in her rise to the role of Vice President of Quality and Regulatory, where she now leads a dedicated team focused on maintaining operational compliance and inspection readiness at the Petersburg site.

Before her tenure at Phlow, Sam served as the Head of Quality, North America at Indivior. In this role, she ensured that products met both patient needs and regulatory requirements, helped establish and sustain a global quality management system, and fostered a ‘culture of quality’ within the organization. Her career also includes progressive roles within the Quality organizations at Wyeth, Mondelez, and WestRock.

Sam holds dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Biochemistry and Biology from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Richmond. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Cate, family, and friends. Sam is also actively involved in volunteer and service projects with her church and women’s club. In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, golfing, and reading.
